What would be a better choice if its about performance when you use heavier software like adobe premiere pro and after effects; would this laptop do the job or a sony vaio f serie? Cuz i dont know what to choose -__-” ...People make me laugh! Envy is cool and technically more powerful when you get the high end one..but! Guys you got to look at the overall picture! is it common for a laptop cpu fan to turn on on startup then off

ok so i just got done replacing a dc jack on a dell inspiron 1200 for a chick at work before i completely re-assembled it i wanted to power it up and make sure everything on it works well the fan turns on then back off right away ...... the fan just always run instead of kicking on when it thinks it needs to? My laptop ... and make sure they are secure. Something could have come loose to where the fan will not run.
