As you can see I painted it John Deere green and yellow and have some nice decals to add when I get around to it. I have to say if I only needed a Lawn Tractor I would have nothing else than the X300. ...All cleaned up out of the parts washer. Also painted the Gas Tank mount. Painted the front steering tubes, to see how the new color looked. Can't wait until it's all dressed up in new Farmall Red! Got the tank painted last night. Going to try to get the hood and grill assembly done tonight. It's done in Tisco IH-110. Finally started messing with it a bit more this week. ... Retired moderator. Stop messin with my avatar! Reflecting the good-natured rivalry among owners of the participating machines, the Farmall displayed a tiny replica of a green John Deere tractor, on its back like a dead bug, inside the glass jar of the air cleaner, where it would be covered by dust ... There's a fair amount of such rivalry, along with pride of brand, among the men and women who run the tractors, and most of the machines are painted the original colors chosen as trade dress by their manufacturers. ...All handtools' handles had to be painted pink due to their unexplained disappearances.
