LCD monitor flickers

Let me try to explain .. I set att fan control to 80 and when that flicker happens,i have black screen for 3~4 minutes,music played at background freezes,after couple seconds it goes back to normal and fan control on automatic again .... I have a gtx 280 connected to my Sony Bravia 32" via a dvi-hdmi cable & for ages I couldn't even got 1080I/60hz to work, only the top few lines of the image were displayed on the screen, the rest of the screen was blank where as 1080i/50hz .... kalispimenta's Avatar. When it boots up it just displays black screen. No text or cursor or what so ever. You might have thought its black out but it isn't. How did I know?? Because the Vaio Logo was displayed every time it boots up. I was able to get into the BIOS setup. It also has a good beep Corsair Dominator PC2-8500 2G Intel Core 2 Duo Maxtor 80G HDD MS Windows Vista Ultimate w/ SP1 ... What he's getting is like this, the _ is blank space: ^______^______^______^______^ The mouse jumps accross the screen rather than moving smoothly. It's like a hiccup and it carry's over into anything on the screen, flash, dvd, xvid, divx. ..."Aero interface: Blue screen, black screen, red screen, security warning, all in an eye-popping 3D!!!!!!!!" ...
